This tube cutter is useful up to 9.4mm in diameter. Cut any plastic micro centrifuge tube and use the cut off tip as a vial insert. Replacement blades available.

Micro Tube Cutter:
Instructions for Blade Replacement

1. Squeeze handles until the small hole in the blade appears.
2. Insert a pin or straightened paper clip into the hole and release the handles.
3. Depress the tab located above the spring inside the lower handle. Handles will spring open.
4. Remove pin or paper clip and squeeze the handles to push out the old blade.

   Note: Insert the new blade with the concave, crescent-shaped cutting edge facing down (away from the fixed blade).

5. Depress the tab slowly and push in the new blade until the small hole disappears.
6. Release the tab gently and squeeze the handles until the new blade clicks into position.

   Caution: If the handles won't close, do not force them. Simply release them and squeeze them again or tap the front of the cutter against a firm surface until the blade slips down into position. Handle sharp edges with care to avoid injury.
