Technical Properties and Specifications of Increased Optical Interaction Path Capillaries for LIF-CE
Laser Induced Fluorescence Detectors in CE normally use collimated beams. Figure one shows the net result of using the square capillary with such a detector. Please note that some alignment may be required for optimization. Figure two shows signal (light) that can be lost when using non collimated beams such as UV detectors. Figure 3 shows the loss when using LIF detectors with a circular capillary. |
