CElixirOA™ a new dynamic coating system for CZE is highly recommended for the quick and reliable analysis of aliphatic organic acids or small anions.

This new system utilizes the dynamic coating system of CElixir™, the market leader in reliable CZE. Now it is easy to perform CZE on organic acids and anions with no extensive sample or complex buffer solution preparation.

The CElixirOA™ kit is supplied with everything you need to analyze small anions. CElixirOA™ pH 2.5 is designed for direct detection of anions such as bromide, nitrate and nitrite.

CElixirOA™ pH 5.4 and CElixirOA™ pH 8.2 are designed for indirect detection of non UV absorbing anions and contains chromophores that absorb at 233nm. CElixirOA™ pH 8.2 provides a more alkaline run buffer which makes it possible to separate compounds such as propionic from sebacic acid.

All kits are supplied with two solutions, Initiator and Accelerator. No additional run buffers or additives are needed. Initiator and Accelerator solutions are matched to each other and must be used together. The only other materials that are needed to run these analyses are a bare fused silica capillary, usually 75µm ID and 60cm Long, CE Grade Water and 0.1M NaOH Solution.
