The capillaries are modified to bring up to a 1,000 fold increase in the number of silanol sites and surface area. This brings a decrease in EOF and a reduced impact from wall adsorption on precision. These capillaries are excellent for bonding proprietary phases to the walls for more reproducible CEC.
