HPLC Column Hardware Specifications

High Quality Components for Reliability.
Only the best components available today, anywhere in the world, are used in the Cogent HPLC Columns. High quality 316 LC grade stainless steel annealed to #1 temper is used for the column. The tubing is polished to be the smoothest, flatest surface available. The internal surface has a root average (Ra) of 8u inch. Normal LC tubing is >14Ra. This eliminates preferential flow paths & eddy spots creating poor column efficiency.

The internal surface is highly polished for flatness and smoothness, the ends are cut to incredible tolerances and pure PEEK is used in the end fittings for leak proof, reliable seals, every time.
