Discussion of Chromatogram:
This “real life” chromatogram is from an official USP method for the quantification of Codeine Phosphate in tablet form. Using a commercially available tablet #3 from Teva Pharmaceutical Company, and by following the official method, the above excellent resolution and peak shape is achieved. Note that the sensitivity of the detector is very high and the large Acetaminophen peak indicates that the proportions are real life and actual.
