Better male nut for HPLC. User friendly. Get Better performance with 1/16th” PEEK or stainless steel tubing to pressures up to 8,000 psi What is the “Better Male Nut”? Sophistication is in simplicity with this male nut for HPLC fittings. Using the combi-head concept of both finger tight and wrench tight, these nuts offer higher pressure ratings and are more user friendly then standard stainless steel male nuts. How does it work? Using nothing but the best stainless steel and attention to details in quality, these male nuts are inserted into a female port as any other nut except they are “started” by using the convenient knurled part of the nut. Once tight to the touch, use a ¼” wrench to apply final pressure. The unique, wide flared inlet/outlet on the head of the nut reduces strain when used in tight places where tubing must be bent or turned thereby minimizing crimping or tubing failure. Will this fitting work with my current HPLC system? YES! This fitting is compatible with any CPI-type coupler or fitting. Will this fitting work with my current UHPLC system?
