Using Cyclodextrins with CElixir™ HPCE Kits has provided excellent chiral separations to scientists seeking short, precise analysis. The polymers of CElixir™ do not compromise the inclusion complexes of Cyclodextrin but actually enhance chiral recognition in some analyses.

CElixir™ can reduce analysis time by up to 50% with no loss of method efficiency. A more reproducible wall environment makes CElixir-MEKC more reproducible.

In our laboratory, using CElixir™, we were able to achieve separation of D/L forms of Norephedrine, Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine in less than four minutes.

Materials:
Capillary: MicroSolvCE bare fused silica capillary 50ľ, cut to 30cm long, 20cm to detector.
Buffers/BGE: CElixir™ HPCE Column Kit with Accelerator Solution pH 2.5.
Chiral Agents: 56 mM dimethyl ß-Cyclodextrin.
Operating Conditions: 666 V/cm, UV Detection at 214nm.
