For More Information Compare EOF to Bare Silica More Zero Flow Information
Controlling the EOF is one of the most important parameters in Capillary Electrophoresis. These capillaries are covalently bonded to have EOF independent of pH from 1.5 to 8.0. Compare these flow rates to bare fused silica. Zero flow capillaries are one of our most popular items. Covalently bonded for stability, these capillaries produce virtually no EOF even at high voltage. Useful between pH 2.0 and 8.0. Due to the controlled ionization of the Controlled EOF capillaries, intra-day and inter day migration time reproducibility in chiral and other separations is improved when used instead of bare fused silica capillaries. Studies have shown that these capillaries not only improve reproducibility but can be more stable and last longer than bare fused silica capillaries under the same conditions. No change in methodology is required other than the conditioning step. Zero capillaries are now supplied with certificates of analysis for EOF characteristics.
